SHEMNUE FANS TURN JAPANESE
Sega has confirmed the American version of Shenmue II will not have English voice talent.
According to the company, the game will be Japanese with English subtitles in a bid to maintain the authenticity and atmosphere in the original Japanese version of the game.
The decision has even led to internet-based petitions being launched by avid Shenmue fans, who are adamant that the game should be released in English.
Shenmue II is set for release at the end of 2002 in Europe and the US.
